Unfortunately, not compatible.

Was hoping to use with Bluetooth Hearing Aids, but it is not compatible. Good customer service, but still waiting for refund.

Avantree TC417!

Heb dit toestelletje, transmitter and receiver met ingebouwde batterij gekocht via de Avantree website. Ik gebruik het omdat ik tussen mijn Sony TV en Bose koptelefoon frequent problemen had met de bluetooth verbinding. Ofwel kon ik geen verbinding maken tussen die twee, ofwel was er ook soms verbinding maar geen klank in mijn koptelefoon! Nu ik het sinds 1 week gebruik lijkt alles vlot te verlopen. Ik woon in België en zowel de bestelling als het verzenden van het toestelletje verliep vlekkeloos. Ik ben geen technicus maar kon het vlot verbinden met de TV via de audio uitgang.

The Bluetooth XMTR in my 'aging' (2014) Samsung 4K HDTV has failed and I need to supplant this with another BT XMTR. I am considering the Avantree TC417 but would like to verify a question about the external power port on this device. I presume this port is present to keep the internal battery charged inside the TC417, and I would like to know if the 5 volt 1 A USB port on the rear of my Samsung TV (which is immediately above the optical audio port on this TV) can be used to power this BT device, and since this USB port is only 'powered' when the TV is initially powered on, will this also power on the TC417 "automatically", or can this be configured in this way?

You can power the TC417 by the USB port on your TV. But there is the built-in battery in TC417, in order to save the battery, it will turn off by software if there is no audio for a long time. You may need to turn off /on it again by the power switch.

TC417 is with build-in battery. For working with the hearing aids, can you hearing aids pair with the mobile phone via bluetooth directly and no need to use the third party app? If yes, then both the TC417 and the Audikast will work.

I currently am using my 2nd set of HT5006 wireless earbuds to watch TV. However, it seems the right bud cuts in and out in this pair. Is there a way to connect one of your transmitters, or the HT5006 to my Starkey hearing aids? The hearing aids connect to my Samsung phone via Bluetooth easily and it would be great if I could connect the TV to them via Bluetooth as well. Please advise.
