You won’t regret it!

This thing is impressive! I had the old model and have had zero issues in the past year with it. However, this model has a nice screen, holds battery power well, and includes the auracast feature. Well worth the price; you won’t regret buying one!!

Avantree Voyager experience so far

I use this product to watch TV - connecting it to my hearing aids. Before I purchased the Voyager it was to replace another Avantree product which had an overly long time delay when watching the TV. I was told the Voyager would be a better experience. Now I have had the product for a short time, there is still a noticeable lag when using it with a TV. There are also sudden interruptions in the audio, it stops and then starts again, which occasionally would not be a problem but when there are several each minute it becomes very annoying. So I am not sure. It connects and re-connects very easily but several times I have switched it off and used a different means to stream to my hearing aids.

What codecs does this have? In the catalog it says it supports "LE Audio, Auracast™, aptX-Adaptive / low latency Support" but the product page only has mentions of aptX-Adaptive. Lower in the page the comparison table shows only "aptX Adaptive & HD, SBC". Does this actually support LC3 from LE audio?

How does your product compare to Twelve South’s AirFly Pro? There are a few products in this space and they suffer with latency issues that make them painful to watch video, and then there are the dropouts. For clarity I’m in the Apple product sphere. I’m loving the look of these and only reasonably satisfied with the AirFly Pro’s.

How is the Voyager charged? USB-C? What is the range for reliable connection? Can an older Blue tooth device connect at same time as multiple Aura devices? How many older devices can connect?

Yes, it charged by USB C charging cable. There is a charging cable coming with the product. The bluetooth operating range is up to 65ft / 20m. But the range is also based on the bluetooth range of the paired device. You can connect the older bluetooth devices with it. You can pair two classic bluetooth headphones with it at thesame time.
