Q & A
Q1: Will this work with my TV?
Yes, if your TV has Optical, AUX, or RCA audio output. Aura Loop is designed to work with the included transmitter connected to your TV through one of these ports. Please check your TV has at least one of these outputs before purchase.
Q2: Can I use this with my TV soundbar? Will my TV speakers still have sound?
Aura Loop does not support audio passthrough to a TV soundbar, so the TV soundbar will not play audio when Aura Loop is in use. Whether your TV speakers can play sound at the same time depends on your TV model and audio settings. Some TVs support simultaneous output, while others do not. Please check your TV settings or manufacturer before purchase.
Q3: Is this the same as regular Bluetooth TV headphones?
No. Aura Loop uses Auracast, not classic Bluetooth. It works as a TV listening system with the included transmitter and supports Auracast earbuds and Auracast-enabled hearing aids only. It does not connect to regular Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
Q4: Is setup complicated? Do I need to change TV settings?
Initial setup is required. You'll need to connect the transmitter and select the correct TV audio output. Once set up, daily use is simple. Most sound issues are resolved by choosing the correct TV output and PCM audio format.
Q5: Can I use Aura Loop with my phone? Will it interrupt TV watching?
When used with the transmitter, Aura Loop can stay connected to your TV while also pairing with your phone. Incoming calls or notifications can be heard through the earbuds, and TV audio will resume automatically after the call ends.
