Q & A

Q1: What's the difference between Audikast 4 and Audikast HA?
The Audikast HA is specifically fine-tuned for hearing aid users. Unlike the Audikast 4, which is more general-purpose, the HA offers enhanced features for seamless integration with hearing aids.

Q2: Will Audikast HA work with my hearing aids?
Yes—if your hearing aids support Auracast. Confirmed models include: GN Danalogic Extend, Jabra Enhance Pro 20/30 & Enhance Select 500, ReSound Nexia/Vivia/Savi, Beltone Envision/Serene, and Starkey Edge AI (with newer Android phones).

Q3: Does it work with my TV or computer?
Yes. Connect via your TV’s Optical (TOSLINK) or 3.5mm AUX output. It also works with PCs and AV receivers using these outputs. If your TV only has HDMI, use an HDMI audio extractor.

Q4: Do I need to pair? How do I connect?
No pairing required — just select the broadcast in your hearing aid app or compatible phone (Samsung S20+ or newer). Full guide: Interactive Setup Guide

Q5: Can others hear my Auracast broadcast? Is there privacy?
By default, the broadcast is open so others can easily join. You can enable password-protected (encrypted) mode via firmware update on Mac/Windows.

Q6: How many listeners and what range?
Auracast supports many listeners simultaneously (varies by environment). Typical indoor range: up to 100 m / 328 ft.
