The Avantree HT41866 uses the Audikast Plus wireless transmitter and includes Optical, AUX, and RCA input cables. It's compatible with any TV that has a working Audio Output jack. It is the perfect Bluetooth set for non-smart and smart TV brands and arguably better than the Bluetooth built into your TV. The Audikast Plus transmitter works with Vizio, Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Phillips, Hisense, and more.
The HT41866's Dual Link feature allows audio to be played through both pairs of wireless headphones simultaneously, with perfect audio. However, either headphone can function independently in case only one person is watching TV. Your partner or friend can join you at any time without any audio interruption for you. Simply have them press the neckband's power button when ready to watch, and the headphone will automatically connect.
Certified Qualcomm® aptX Low Latency, the Avantree HT41866 Audikast Plus transmitter provides <40 ms audio latency. Typical solutions in the market can have audio latency over 100MS or more which causes the notorious "Bluetooth audio lag" experience where the images on the TV and the audio are off. Avantree's HT41866 dual neckband in-ear headphones and Bluetooth transmitter are factory pre-paired making the connection procedure painless. No more making sure the device is in Bluetooth mode or setting both device and headphones to find each other. Just power on the transmitter and headphones, and they will automatically connect - every time.
The two in-ear headphones and the Audikast Plus Bluetooth transmitter that make up the Avantree HT41866 kit can be used independently. Operate the in-ear headphones as regular Bluetooth 5.0 headphones for your cell phone, tablet, laptop, or computer. Hearing audio through the TV speaker AND the headphones at the same time
If you'd like to get sound on both your TV speakers AND headphones at the same time, it DEPENDS on whether the TV is able to support getting sound out to two sources simultaneously. It is NOT related to the transmitter. The transmitter receieves the sound from your TV's output and streams it over to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
However, if you connect the transmitter to your TV via OPTICAL port and you can see the following options under the SOUND OUTPUT settings on your TV...
You can actually get sound simultaneously! Follow these steps:
If your TV doesn't support simultaneous output to both the TV speakers and headphones, here are some alternative methods you can consider:
For Audio Transmitter Users:
Solution 1: Connect the Transmitter to a TV box / AV Receiver instead
If you have a TV box (DirecTV, Xfinity, Bluray Player, etc.), you should be able to find audio output ports on the back of them. Try to connect the Avantree transmitter directly here instead of the TV. This method essentially allows you to "go around" the TV's built-in speakers.
Con: will not work on streaming apps if you have a Smart TV or streaming device
For all users:
Solution 2: For users with TV Sondbar / AV Receiver
2.1 Use Transmitters with Passthrough Function
If you have a Soundbar or Stereo Receiver, check your transmitter to see if it supports passthrough. If not, you can return your current product and consider purchasing one of these: Orbit, Oasis Plus, Opera, Medley 6018, HT5009, HT5006, Duet, or Quartet.
Our industry leading "Passthrough" function allows you to put the transmitter/base between a TV and an external speaker and have audio come out from both devices AT THE SAME TIME.

Back to TopHT41866 TV Headphone Set comes with two headphones, the BLACK headphone and RED headphone.
The BLACK headphone is the primary "1" headphone. It is paired & LOCKED with the transmitter.
The RED headphone is the secondary "2" headphone. It is paired but not locked with the transmitter.
NOTE 2.1 Each time when you use them, the BLACK headphone normally reconnect to the transmitter automatically. But you do need to click the middle silver button on the RED headphone once to reconnect it. Details are as following:
1. Turn on BLACK headphones.
2. Turn on RED headphones.
3. Turn on the transmitter (for 1st time use) or Turn OFF and BACK on the transmitter(for next time use).
4. Wait 3-5s for it to auto-reconnect to the transmitter. IF the RED headphone NOT, you can:
4.1. Wait for 3s and then quickly tap the middle silver button ONCE. You will hear a long beep, and the RED Headphone will announce 'Connected'.
4.2. If RED headphone failed to reconnect, quickly tap "2" button on the transmitter once and WAIT 3-5 seconds. The RED Headphone will announce 'Connected'.
NOTE 2.2 Both headphones now show SOLID BLUE, and are well connected to the transmitter. The Bluetooth sign next to "1" and "2" on the transmitter are also both SOLID BLUE.
If this is not the case, please turn both devices off and turn them back on again and wait for 5-10 seconds.
If this does not happen even you tried to turn them both off and on and waited for 5 seconds, you might need manually Re-pair, Connect, and Lock the headphone and transmitter base again.

· Headphone and Transmitter Base should be well Connected
1. Avantree headphone should say "Welcome to Avantree. Connected." and shows Solid Blue light.
2. Transmitter should show Solid Light indicating ‘Connected’?
3. How to connect to Apple Airpods Max, Pro, Bose, Beats, Jabra, Plantronics, Sennheiser, Sony...
· Proper Audio Signal should be sent to the Transmitter (95% issues are here)
o Is your transmitter signal detecting LED SOLID (Signal coming through OK) or Flashing (No Valid Signal)?
o Check Your TV setting again (Samsung TV, LG TV, Sony TV, Vizio TV…)
o For AUX / RCA connections
• Use your headphone with a wire to listen. If no sound, then no signal coming from that port
• Transmitter base is set to AUX
o For Optical connection,
• Transmitter base is set to OPT
• Make sure your TV HDMI ARC port is not connected
• Unplug and Plug the optical cable from transmitter
• Start your Netflix / Amazon Prime Program first before change to PCM
• Contact your TV manufactory and ask “How to change the TV setting so i can get audio signal out of my port?”
