Easy Setup

Plug

Plug the Relay into an in-flight entertainment system (use the adapter if necessary) or any other audio source with an AUX 3.5mm audio output jack.

Power

Turn both the Relay and your headphones on (some earbuds – such as AirPods – need to be powered off in order to place them in pairing mode.)

Pair

For first use, the Relay will automatically enter pairing mode. Place your headphones into pairing mode as well.

Play

Keep the devices close together and they'll connect. Press & hold the main button until the LED flashes blue & red to connect another pair.

Very good experience

I used the Relay for a long international flight, linking it to my hearing aids. Finally I could actually hear the movie on screen. Plus I could switch easily between the movie and the crew asking me for drinks or whatever. Also being without wires is a great thing to be able to quickly get up without any hassle.

Works very well

Are these compatiable with Sony WH-1000XM5 or 4? SoundJet R1 site specifically mentions SoundJet R1 is compatible with AirPods, QuietComfort 45, WH-1000XM5. Like to check if Relay also support Sony.

Hello! I wanted to clarify that I plan to connect the adapter to a home projector so that I can watch it with my wife when the child is sleeping. To do this, we plan to use both Airpods pro2 and Samsung Galaxy Buds (first version) headphones. Will they connect well together and will there be any loss of sound quality and delays when watching movies?

This adapter is powered by a Qualcomm-based Bluetooth transmitter and is compatible with most Bluetooth headphones, including AirPods Pro 2 and Samsung Galaxy Buds (first version). However, please note that due to limitations in chip capacity, dual-link mode (connecting two sets of headphones simultaneously) may not always be completely stable, especially with true wireless earbuds like these. You can give it a try and see how it performs. Here’s a tip: after pairing both earbuds, if you notice one pair is not working as well as the other, try placing both pairs back in their charging cases, then take them out one at a time to allow them to reconnect. This may help improve the connection. Regarding audio delay, both AirPods Pro 2 and Samsung Galaxy Buds (first version) do not support low-latency codecs like aptX LL. They will likely default to the SBC codec, which can result in an audio delay of about 200ms. This delay is noticeable for some people when watching movies, while others may find it acceptable. iPhone with Lighting port. You could check if there is a lighting to 3.5mm converter. And then use the converter and the Relay with your iPhone.
