Use your smartphone and Avantree C82 Aura to bring nearby speech directly to Auracast-enabled hearing aids in everyday one-to-one conversations.
The Daily Challenge
Many people can hear that someone is speaking, but still cannot understand the words clearly, especially in noisy places like coffee shops, clinics, restaurants, front desks, trade shows, or family gatherings.
Dedicated remote microphone accessories can work well, but they are often expensive and tied to one hearing aid brand.
If you have newer Auracast-enabled hearing aids, your smartphone can become a simpler close-range microphone with a small USB-C Auracast transmitter.
How It Works
The phone microphone captures nearby speech. C82 Aura broadcasts the phone audio over Auracast. Compatible hearing aids join the broadcast and play the speech directly.
Keep the phone pointed toward the speaker for clearer voice pickup.
A microphone or voice amplifier app sends audio to USB-C output.
The USB-C transmitter creates an Auracast audio broadcast.
One or more Auracast-enabled hearing aids can join the broadcast.

What You Need
The setup is designed to keep the daily workflow simple after the first connection.
First-Time Setup
You only need the full setup the first time. After that, you usually plug in C82 Aura, open the microphone app, and join the saved broadcast if your hearing aids do not reconnect automatically.
Choose one that can route audio to a USB-C audio device.
Use the phone's USB-C port or the correct adapter for older iPhones.
Play any audio from the phone for a few seconds if needed.
Find the Avantree C82 Aura Auracast broadcast and connect.
Select the USB-C audio device or C82 Aura as output if the app asks.
Keep it close to the person speaking, ideally within about 30-50 cm / 1-1.5 ft.
