PlayStation 4
Scenario 1: If you're using Faststream Headphones like Avantree Aria Pro.
Go to Settings - Devices - Audio Devices. Ensure that both “Input Device” and “Output Device” are set to "USB Headsets (Avantree C81)". This will allow you to hear the game's background music and communicate with your partner.
Scenario 2: If you're using Non-Faststream Headphones like AirPods, Sony, Beats etc..
Please follow the above instructions to configure the settings. Then, double-click the MFB button on the C81, and the dongle's light will turn solid white, indicating that the headphones are in talk mode. However, you may notice that the sound quality of your game music significantly decreases. For the reason, please refer to Bad Sound Quality During Chats.
Therefore, we have prepared a mini mic specifically for this situation. To use it, go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices. Uncheck "Switch Output Device Automatically".
Insert the mini mic into the controller, and you should see the "Input Device" automatically change to "Headset Connected to Controller," while the "Output Device" remains the same.
If it does not work, try restarting your console and trying again. Now, you can listen to game music with unchanged sound quality through your headphones and communicate with your teammates via the mini mic on the controller.
