Q1: Will MediaCast work with my TV?
Yes. MediaCast works with TVs that have HDMI ARC, Optical, or AUX audio output. It streams TV audio wirelessly to compatible Auracast hearing aids, Auracast earbuds/headphones, Auracast receivers, or one Bluetooth headphone.
Q2: Can headphones and TV speaker play sound at the same time?
It depends on your TV. Some TVs allow both TV speaker and HDMI ARC/Optical audio at the same time, while others mute the TV speaker when using external audio output.
Q3: Can I use MediaCast with a soundbar at the same time?
MediaCast does not have passthrough. To use it with a soundbar, use an HDMI ARC audio extractor such as Avantree HAX06, or an optical splitter for Optical setup.
Q4: Can I connect two Bluetooth headphones at the same time?
No. Bluetooth mode supports only one headphone. For multiple listeners, use Auracast mode with compatible Auracast devices.
Q5: Can Bluetooth mode and Auracast mode work at the same time?
No. Use Bluetooth mode for one Bluetooth headphone, or Auracast mode for compatible Auracast hearing aids and devices.
Q6: Does MediaCast work with hearing aids?
Yes. MediaCast works with compatible Auracast hearing aids, streaming TV audio directly to your hearing aids for clearer listening at your own volume.
