Before you choose

Does this work with every hearing aid?

No. The model list above is only a partial set of examples. Choose Aura C for supported Bluetooth hearing aids or headphones, and AuraCoil for hearing aids with a T-Coil program. Confirm the exact model if you are unsure.

Why might Aura C sound slightly delayed or create an echo?

This applies to Aura C only. Aura C first receives the Auracast signal, then the phone sends it to the hearing aids by Bluetooth. That additional Bluetooth step can add about 150–250 ms. If direct room sound is also audible, the two paths may sound like an echo. Sit farther from venue speakers, reduce outside sound, or mute the hearing aid microphones when possible. AuraCoil does not use this extra phone-to-hearing-aid Bluetooth step. Read the latency guide →

Can multiple listeners join the same Auracast broadcast?

Yes. Multiple compatible receivers can join the same broadcast at the same time.

What does the venue need?

The venue needs a live audio source and an Auracast transmitter or Auracast-enabled sound system.
