What's the difference between hax04 and hax05?

It duplicates the audio signal from the TV to the soundbar, and then transmits it to other audio devices such as wired speakers or Bluetooth transmitters, using the optical and audio ports on the HAX05. It can only work between ARC ports and can only process audio signals, so it cannot function with devices such as a Blu-ray player like the HAX04 can. If any image processing is needed, the HAX04 is required.
