Bluetooth TVs and non-Bluetooth TVs are paired differently. Read on for more details.

Use with a Bluetooth TV:

Step 1: Get the Cyclone into Bluetooth Pairing Mode

How to Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode

Step 2: Get your TV into Pairing Mode

Different TV brands/models have different ways to connect Bluetooth devices. Please refer to your TV's user manual for a more detailed walk-through.

The procedure usually involves going into your TV's settings menu and finding "External Devices" or "Device Manager". Please check this link for some examples, although your TV may be different.

How to Connect with your Smart TV via the TV's Bluetooth?

After both the speaker and TV are in pairing mode, you should be able to find the Cyclone on your TV and choose it to pair.

Note: If you are experiencing audio delay, you may need to get a Bluetooth transmitter for your TV to remove this delay. Most TV's native Bluetooth does not support low latency, and you will still experience up to 200ms of delay. To learn how to use a Bluetooth transmitter, read on.

Use with a Non-Bluetooth TV:

If your TV does not have built-in Bluetooth capabilities, you'll need a Bluetooth transmitter in order to connect the Cyclone to the TV. Please refer to the user manual of the transmitter.

Avantree offers a variety of Bluetooth transmitters: Oasis Plus, Audikast Plus, Orbit, etc. These will give you the best experience as Avantree transmitters support low latency for no audio delay.

Here's a simplified set of instructions on how to connect your Speaker to a non-Bluetooth TV.

Step 1: Connect your Transmitter to your TV.

Most TVs nowadays offer at least one of the options below; use the one that's suitable for your TV. We recommend Optical for the best experience.
