Part 1. Physical Check of the Aria 90B Headphone Boom Microphone
If you can hear others through a phone call or meeting software like Skype or Zoom but they can’t hear you, there are two possibilities as the follows:
20% of the case is quality issue, in which we will replace it for you;
80% of the case is operational or device setting issues, in which you can to refer to Part 2 to troubleshoot further.
Step 1 - 3 can simply help figure out if it caused by quality reason real quick, please try as below:
Step 1: Is the boom mic properly plugged in?
Please make sure that you can not see any metal part as show on the left .
Step 2: Did you mute the microphone?
Please make sure you can not see a red dot near the mute switch as shown on the left side of the following picture.
Step 3: After making sure that the boom mic is properly plugged and not muted, please pair it with your cellphone and test if others can hear you:
Note: On some phones you need to choose the paired headphone as the audio output device in case they do not choose it automatically.
- If it works well on your cellphone, it then should be the setting reason, please go to Part 2 to troubleshoot further.
- If not work with your cellphone, either, it is very likely to be the quality issue, please contact our support team at support@avantree.com for replacement.
