How does the volume control work with the HAX05? Does it support CEC?
- If your TV is using ARC, in general, the TV's remote control cannot adjust the volume of the TV. The reason is that HDMI ARC is digital audio and therefore not adjustable. The HAX05 does not change this fact.
- If your TV is using ARC, AND both the TV and the soundbar support CEC, then both the TV and the soundbar's remotes can adjust the volume of the ARC soundbar.

Scenario 1 - No HAX05, your ARC TV is connected directly to an ARC soundbar

Solution: You can adjust the volume on the soundbar if your soundbar doesn't have a remote.
