Part 2. How to Pair with a Bluetooth Headphone / Speaker
Step 1: Connect the Audikast Plus to a power source using the Micro-USB cable we provided, and flip the power switch to "ON."
Step 2: Getting the Audikast Plus into "Bluetooth Pairing Mode."
- First-Time Use: If the Audikast Plus is brand new, and this is your first time using it, it should automatically enter pairing mode when you turn it on. You'll see the Bluetooth icon next to "A" flashing RED & BLUE.
- Non-First-Time Use: If this is NOT the first time you've used it, simply enter it into pairing mode manually by Pressing & Holding the "A" button for 2 seconds. You'll see the Bluetooth icon next to "A" flashing RED & BLUE.
Step 3: Put your Bluetooth Headphones / Speaker into Bluetooth Pairing Mode as well.
Avantree Headphones/Speakers/Receivers: The LED indicator on the Headphone/speaker/receiver flashing RED & BLUE.
Non-Avantree Devices: Look it up by Brand.
Step 4: Keep your headphone / speaker close to Audikast Plus, and give them a few seconds.
Sometimes it may take up to 30 seconds for the two devices to successfully connect, so please be patient.
Once successfully paired, you'll see the Bluetooth icon next to "A" stop flashing and turn SOLID BLUE.
For your Next Use:
There's no need to re-pair the Audikast Plus each time.
The Audikast Plus automatically reconnects to the MOST RECENTLY PAIRED device, given that both the Audikast Plus and the device have been turned ON. It may take up to 20 seconds or so to reconnect, please be patient.
If they don't reconnect automatically, please do so manully through your Headphones / Speaker. Please refer to your Headphone/Speaker's user manual for a more detailed instruction.
Reconnecting to TWO Devices (Dual Connection)
- Turn your first device (headphones / speaker) ON.
- Wait for a few seconds, and turn the Audikast Plus ON.
- After the first device has successfully reconnected, turn the second device ON.
- If case the auto-reconnection fails, you may try manual reconnection through your headphones / speaker.
