Listen to Auracast directly, or use a receiver.
Step 1 · Find your connection
What can your hearing aids do?
Choose the option that matches your hearing aids.

You can hear music from your phone through your hearing aids
You can switch your hearing aids to “T” or “MT”
Not sure about T or MT?
Look for a T or MT setting in your hearing aid app or paperwork. If you cannot find one, ask your hearing care professional.
Setup path
Use Oticon Companion App
Install or update to the latest version before starting.
Tap More Options
Tap the three-dot button at the bottom-right of the app screen.
The More menu opens.
Tap Auracast broadcast
Choose Auracast broadcast from the More menu.
A list of nearby broadcasts appears.
Select a broadcast
Choose the nearby broadcast you want to hear.
The broadcast controls open.
Adjust volume
Set the broadcast to a comfortable listening level.
Broadcast audio plays through both hearing aids.
Connected: You hear the broadcast through both hearing aids. No sound?

Aura C phone hearing aids
- Plug Aura C into a compatible USB-C phone.
- The phone sends the broadcast to hearing aids already connected by Bluetooth, MFi, or ASHA.
Aura C does not pair directly with hearing aids.

Switch to T or MT. The neckloop sends the broadcast to your hearing aids.

Troubleshooting
Common issues
Match what you hear, try the action, then check the expected result.
01No sound
Recognize: the broadcast appears selected, but your hearing aids are silent.
- Confirm the Auracast broadcast source is powered on.
- Move closer, rescan in Oticon Companion App and raise broadcast volume.
Expected: broadcast audio plays through both hearing aids. If it does not, restart the broadcast source and repeat the scan.
02Not hearing clearly
Recognize: broadcast audio plays, but it is difficult to understand.
- Set broadcast volume to a comfortable level.
- Reduce nearby background sound when possible.
Expected: the broadcast becomes clearer without uncomfortable loudness.
03Hearing echo or delay
Recognize: the same broadcast reaches you through your hearing aids and a nearby speaker at different times.
- Mute the nearby speaker, such as a TV speaker.
- Use one listening path at a time.
Expected: only one synchronized audio path remains.
