The Avantree PHA10 is a personal hearing amplifying device that offers up to 60 dB volume enhancement, perfect for hearing impaired. It offers 7 different volume levels as well as a set of audio tuning panels – you’ll be able to personalize the audio to your preference.
Having problems picking up certain words or phrases during a conversation? The PHA10 can help. The PHA10 is a pseudo-hearing amplify device that picks up your surrounding sounds such as human voice or TV audio and amplifies them by up to 60 dB. With it, your ears will be able to pick up even the smallest details during a multi-person conversation.
Different from most hearing amplify devices on the market, the Avantree PHA10 offers 7 levels of volume adjustment and it can amplify up to 60 dB. Perfect for those medium to severe hearing loss.
The PHA10 also enable one to further personalize the sound based on your actual needs. It comes with 3 “tuning” panels that allow you to further adjust the volume to a level of your liking, further reduce low frequency environmental noise, and further adjust clarity of conversation speech.
When you’d like to take a break but don’t want to keep powering on/off the device, the convenient “mute” switch on the PHA10 makes everything easy. Simply give the button a click to silence the device; when you’re ready, click the button again to unmute.
The PHA10’s battery can run up to 50 hours per full charge, so feel free to bring them with you when you travel, use them however you want, they’ll not run out of battery in the middle of the day. When you do need to charge them, simply connect them to a power source using the charging cable provided, it’ll be ready again in a couple of hours.
When you take the PHA10 out with you, it can be hung on your neck using the lanyard provided. The device itself is extremely lightweight, so not to worry, it won’t irritate your skin. When you’d like to put it away, the compact size allows you to do so by simply putting it into your pocket, hassle-free.
The earbuds of Avantree PHA10 hearing amplifier are ergonomically designed with soft silicone gel; they’re extremely soft and comfortable, and they’re made to fit into even the smallest ears. Either earbud can be used for either ear; there’s no L or R, no need to worry about “wearing them wrong”.
No, the other earphones will not work with it. Only the earphone coming with PHA10 works.

Back to TopA high-pitched screech or squeal from an electronic device is called feedback, and it can happen for a number of reasons. The most effective way to fix the problem is to determine the source of the problem, which might be:
Improper Fit: There’s air escaping from the space between the gap between the device and your ear canal. Ensure you wear them BEFORE you turn on the PHA10, pick the right sized buds and wear them tightly to prevent the air from escaping.
Ear Wax: If ear wax is blocking your ear canal, sound may have nowhere else to go but out the vents and joins of the device, causing squealing feedback. Clean the earwax in the ear canal at least twice a week.

1. We recommend powering the PHA10 on AFTER you’ve put the earbuds into your ears
2. Each earbud can be used for either ear; there’s no L or R.
3. To avoid “squealing”, please make sure that you pick the pair of earbud tips that fit the tightest; the squealing occurs when there’s air escaping from the space between the gap between the device and your ear canal. Wear them tightly to prevent the air from escaping.
Now please start as following:
Step 1: Plug the Wired Earbuds into the Charging/headphone port on PHA10.
Step 2: Put the Earbuds on.
To prevent “squealing”, please make sure that you wear them properly and tightly. Switch the earbud tips to a different size if you need to.
Step 3: Slide the power switch to power on the PHA10.
We suggest setting the volume at low first to avoid accidental hearing damage. You may adjust the volume once they’re up and working.
