Do not open the TV Bluetooth menu. Connect the transmitter to one TV audio output with a cable.

Step 1 · Power
Power the transmitter
- Connect the supplied USB-C power cable to the transmitter.
- Connect the other end to a working 5 V USB power source.
- Slide the transmitter to ON. Check that its light turns on.
✓Ready: the transmitter light is on. The charging dock needs its own separate USB-C power cable.

Optical selected
Connect the Optical cable
- Remove the clear protective caps from both square ends.
- TV: plug one end into OPTICAL / DIGITAL AUDIO OUT.
- Transmitter: plug the other end into the purple OPTICAL port labeled TX Input / From TV.
- Push both square plugs in fully.
✓Ready: TV OPTICAL OUT → HT5009 Plus OPTICAL TX INPUT.

Headphone / AUX selected
Connect the 3.5 mm AUX cable
- TV: plug one end into HEADPHONES / AUDIO OUT.
- Transmitter: plug the other end into the blue AUX port labeled TX Input / From TV.
- Push both round plugs in fully.
✓Ready: TV HEADPHONES / AUDIO OUT → HT5009 Plus AUX TX INPUT.

HDMI ARC only
Connect through HAX06
- Connect the TV HDMI ARC / eARC port to HAX06.
- Connect HAX06 OPTICAL OUT to the purple OPTICAL port labeled TX Input / From TV.
- Turn off eARC if enabled, then set the TV audio format to PCM.
✓Ready: TV HDMI ARC → HAX06 → HT5009 Plus OPTICAL TX INPUT.

Step 3 · TV sound
Set the TV to PCM
- Open Settings → Sound.
- Set Sound Output to Optical, External Speaker or Audio System.
- Set Audio Format to PCM or Stereo.
- Play a TV show with speaking voices.
Do not use Dolby, DTS, Auto or Bitstream.

Step 3 · TV sound
Set TV audio for Headphone / AUX
- Open TV Settings → Sound.
- Set Sound Output to Headphones or Audio Out if your TV asks.
- Turn the TV volume up to a normal listening level.
- Play a TV show with speaking voices.
Depending on the TV, its speakers may stay on or mute automatically. This is controlled by the TV setting.

Step 3 · TV sound
Set TV audio for HDMI ARC
- Set Sound Output to HDMI ARC, Receiver, or Audio System.
- Turn eARC OFF if there is no sound.
- Set Digital Audio Format to PCM or Stereo.

Step 4 · Listen
Turn on the headphones and listen
- Take the headphones off the charging dock.
- Turn on the headphones.
- Wait a few seconds for the connection light to become solid blue.
- Put the headphones on and adjust volume gradually.
✓Success: the connection light is solid blue and TV sound plays in the headphones. They are already paired—do not pair again.
TV Bluetooth · Higher delay
Pair directly with your TV
Use this only if your TV supports Bluetooth audio. If voices are behind the picture, use the recommended transmitter setup.
1Turn off the transmitter
This stops the headphones from reconnecting to it.
2Start pairing
Turn on the headphones. No red + blue flash? Hold PAIR for 3 seconds.
3Select AS19
Open the TV Bluetooth audio list and select AS19.
4Play TV sound
Wait for solid blue, then play TV sound and adjust the volume.
✓Success: solid blue light + TV sound. The HT5009 Plus transmitter is not carrying audio in this mode.
No TV Bluetooth audio? Choose “Use the HT5009 Plus kit” above and connect the transmitter with Optical or AUX.
After setup
Volume, sound & charging
Use the headphone controls first. Keep the transmitter and charging dock connected to separate power sources.
Adjust volume & speech
Start at a low level and increase gradually.
- Press + or − on the headphones.
- If using AUX, also raise the TV volume.
- If Optical volume is low, slide OPT Volume on the transmitter to Boost.
- Use the sound-mode button to try Clear Voice.
Charge the headphones
Use the powered dock or plug USB-C directly into the headphones.
3.5 hUSB-C

- Charging: solid red.
- Full: light off.
- Dock not charging? Realign the headphones with the charging pins.
Quick help
Fix the common problems
01No sound or OPT/AUX flashing
- Confirm the Headphone 1 light is solid white. Green-and-white flashing means the headphones are not connected.
- A flashing white OPT or AUX light means the TV is not sending an audio signal. Reseat the cable and confirm the matching TV audio output.
- For Optical, select PCM or Stereo. For AUX, raise the TV output volume.

02Use TV speakers too
- Some TVs can play internal speakers and Optical output together; enable a TV setting such as “TV Speaker + Optical”.
- Some TVs mute speakers when a 3.5 mm headphone cable is inserted.
- If simultaneous output is unavailable, check the TV manual or use a compatible external audio solution.
The exact option depends on the TV model, not the HT5009 Plus headphones.

03Headphones will not charge
- Confirm the charging dock has its own USB-C power connection.
- Place the headphones squarely on the charging contacts.
- Wipe the contacts gently with a clean, dry cloth and reseat them.
- Allow about 3.5 hours by USB-C or 5.5 hours on the dock.
