SETUP

Set up the controls that match yours.

First select your remote. Then choose how you want to listen.

FIX A PROBLEM

Start with what you see or hear.

Each fix tells you the expected result and when to escalate.

Paired, but no sound
  1. Check the modeThe BT light should be solid blue, not white.
  2. Choose the correct outputSelect “Avantree Slumber 2” on your phone.
  3. Raise both volumesSet phone media volume to 80–100%. Then turn up the remote wheel.
  4. Restart the connectionTurn Slumber 2 off and on. Reconnect and test another app.

Success: audio plays and the BT light stays solid blue.

Still silent? Forget Slumber 2 on your phone, then reset the remote.

Cannot pair, or BT light is not flashing
  1. Disconnect old devicesTurn off Bluetooth on nearby devices used with Slumber 2.
  2. Select BT modeUse the BT control that matches your remote version.
  3. Start pairingHold the BT control for 3 seconds.

Success: the BT light flashes red and blue. “Avantree Slumber 2” appears on your phone.

Still not flashing? In BT mode, hold Previous track button and Next track button together for 10 seconds.

Audio cuts off, skips, or misses first words
  1. Raise phone volumeSet phone media volume to 80–100%. Use the remote for comfort.
  2. Reconnect BluetoothTurn phone Bluetooth off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn it on and reconnect.

Success: speech starts cleanly and audio plays without interruption.

Volume is too low
  1. Move it closerPlace Slumber 2 on top of the pillow, near your ear.
  2. Raise both volumesTurn up the connected device and the remote.
  3. Test while lying downMove the speaker slightly until the level feels right.
Adjust placement for volume and comfort

Success: audio is clear at a comfortable remote setting.

Sound comes from only one side
  1. Reconnect the plugUnplug the remote from the pillow speaker.
  2. Push it in fullyReinsert the plug firmly, then replay audio.

Success: all four speaker units play.

Bluetooth will not stay connected
  1. Use stable powerUse a USB charger, not a power bank.
  2. Forget Slumber 2Remove it from your device’s Bluetooth list.
  3. Clear pairing historyReset the remote, then pair again.
  4. Try another deviceTest with a second phone, tablet, or computer.

Success: the BT light stays solid blue without disconnecting.

Only one device fails? Check that device’s Bluetooth settings. If every device fails, contact support.
