Beltone Hearing Aids Setup Guide

Listen to Auracast directly, or use a receiver.

Step 1 · Find your connection

Look for a T or MT setting in your hearing aid app or paperwork. If you cannot find one, ask your hearing care professional.

Select the broadcast

Choose the broadcast you want to hear.

Adjust volume

Set the broadcast and surroundings levels to a comfortable balance.

Aura C receiver plugs into a USB-C phone

Aura C phone hearing aids

  1. Plug Aura C into a compatible USB-C phone.
  2. The phone sends the broadcast to hearing aids already connected by Bluetooth, MFi, or ASHA.

Aura C does not pair directly with hearing aids.

Switch to T or MT. The neckloop sends the broadcast to your hearing aids.

FIX A PROBLEM

Start with what you notice.

1The broadcast does not appear

Recognize: no expected broadcast name is listed. Action: move closer, confirm the transmitter is broadcasting, leave ordinary Bluetooth pairing, and scan again in the Beltone HearMax app. Expected: the broadcast name appears. If it does not, restart the hearing aids and phone, then confirm Commence, Envision, or Serene compatibility.

2Joined, but there is no sound

Action: select the broadcast again and raise streaming volume gradually. Expected: audio plays through both hearing aids. If it differs, note the broadcast name, phone model, hearing-aid model, and what the Beltone HearMax app shows.

3Sound is unclear, delayed, or echoes

Action: move closer, use one listening path, and mute the TV speaker when practical. Expected: stable audio without duplicate voices. Persistent problems need Beltone- or transmitter-specific support.

Direct listening with supported Beltone hearing aids

  • Use the Beltone HearMax app to scan for and select a nearby broadcast.
  • Pair the hearing aids with the phone before opening the Beltone HearMax app.
  • Confirm current model, phone, region, and firmware support.

If direct listening is unavailable

  • If your hearing aids receive phone audio, use Aura C with a compatible USB-C phone.
  • If your hearing aids have a T or MT program, use AuraCoil or AuraClip with a compatible T-coil neckloop.
