The TC417 DOES have a built-in battery, hence it can be used either plugged-in or wirelessly (on battery.)

To power on, press & hold the power button for about 3 seconds. You'll see the LED light turn either GREEN or BLUE, depending on the mode you're using.

 

To power off, please press & hold the same button again until the LED indicator dims out.
