Pair and connect to your phone

The SP860 can be used as a Bluetooth speaker; you may wirelessly pair your Mobile Device to it and play music through it. Please follow the steps below if you're not sure how.

Step 1: Entering Pairing Mode on the SP860(Soundbyte) speaker.

Twist the power/volume dial clockwise to turn the SP860(Soundbyte) on. The screen will light up and go directly into the mode that it was in the last time you used it. If it is not already in Bluetooth mode, simply press the button under the display with the Bluetooth icon and the SP860 will say "Bluetooth mode, Pairing". 

Note: The SP860(Soundbyte) will automatically reconnect to the device it was most recently paired with. If you would like to pair them with a different device, disconnect it from any other devices.

Step 2: Connecting to Bluetooth on Your Device.
On your device, locate the Bluetooth settings and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. Find and select "Avantree SP860/Soundbyte” to connect the speaker.

Once connected, the voice prompt will say "Connected, ready for use" and the display will show "Connected". The SP860(Soundbyte) will show as connected on your device. 

Note: In Bluetooth mode, the SP860(Soundbyte) has many equalizer options for playing music. To access these options, simply short-press the "Menu" button and select "Equalizer". Choose whichever mode you enjoy the most!
