Well, we got that covered!

What you need is a perfect fit for the unique "Bypass" function that's only available on Oasis Plus, HT5009, and HT5006!

In short, the "Bypass" mode basically involves installing the Oasis Plus between your TV and your sound system (Sound Bar, AV Receiver...)



This is often used under 2 scenarios:

  1. When the port (Optical or AUX) on your TV is already occupied by your sound system yet you would like to install the Oasis Plus.
  2. When you'd like to have your TV audio come out from both your Headphones (that are paired with Oasis Plus) AND your Sound System, so that your family / friends can enjoy TV as well.

Setting Up the Bypass Mode

Step 1: Connect the Oasis Plus to a power source. You may either flip the power switch to "TX" to turn it on or simply leave it as off.

Step 2: Connect the Oasis Plus to your TV using one of the ports under the label "TX Input from TV" located on the back of Oasis Plus.

Step 3: Connect the Oasis Plus to your Sound System (AV Receiver of SoundBar etc.) using one of the ports under the label "RX Output to Speaker" located on the back of Oasis Plus.

Please make sure that you're using the same connection here as the connection you've used on the TX side. For instance, if you're using Optical Digital connection between your TV and your Oasis Plus, you'd have to use Optical Digital here as well.

Now, assuming that you've already paired your Headphones to your Oasis Plus beforehand, you're good to go! If you haven't done the pairing, please refer to THIS ARTICLE.

Ways to use the Bypass function:

  • Hearing from both your Headphones and your Sound System: Please make sure your Oasis Plus is ON and functioning on "TX" mode.
  • Hearing from ONLY the Sound System: You may either turn your Oasis Plus off, or simply turn your Headphones off.
  • Hearing from ONLY the Headphones: Easy, just turn your Sound System off.
