The transmitter and the headphones in HT4186 set are pre-paired and LOCKED with each other. The factory reset function will clear the pairing history with other devices, but the original set still remains paired and locked. If you used them separately with another device, and later found that HT4186 will not auto-reconnect with each other, you may need to do the reset.

The HT4186 set consists of 2 parts: The Audikast Plus Trasmitter, and the NB16 Headphones. Each needs to be resetted separately.

Factory Reset the Audikast Plus Transmitter

Power ON. Press & hold the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for 7 seconds. You'll see both Bluetooth LED indicators light up PINK and turn off, indicating that the reset was successful. (Note: If your transmitter doesn't have "+""-" volume buttons, then press and hold the "1"/ "A" and "2"/ "B" buttons instead.)

Once this is done, the Audikast Plus will re-enter pairing mode, as indicated by the Bluetooth icon next to "1"/ "A" flashing RED & BLUE.

Turn the transmitter OFF.

Factory Reset the NB16 Headphones

After turning on, press and hold both “+” and “-” for 10 seconds until the red and blue LEDs are BOTH on for 2 seconds (looks PINK).After this, the LED indicator will turn solid red for 2 seconds and then turn off.- now all the paired history of the headphones is cleared.

Then turn both the transmitter and the headphone on. Wait for 5-10 sec, the transmitter and headphones will auto-reconnect.  You will see SOLID blue light both on transmitter and headphone and hear "Connected" from headphones.

In case they fail to reconnect, you might need manually Re-pair, Connect, and Lock the headphone and transmitter base
