All of the Avantree TV headphone sets are "FACTORY LOCKED" before shipping. This means that as soon as they're turned on, they should automatically connect with each other and show Solid Blue on the headphones. There's NO need to pair them each time you want to use them.

If they fail to reconnect, please follow the steps below to RECONNECT and LOCK them again.

Note: During this procedure, please use another power source to power up the transmitter instead of using the TV's USB port. Then, temporarily turn off the TV. This is an essential step because your Smart TV might interfere with the paring process.

1.   Clear the pairing history of the Ensemble Transmitter - Use a little screwdriver or another long and narrow tool to push the AUX pole in the transmitter. Insert the screwdriver into the AUX port on the back of the transmitter until you reach the end. Press and hold the pole at the end until the LED indicator turns PINK, indicating a successful reset. Shortly after, it will enter pairing mode with the LED flashing RED and BLUE

2.   Get the Headphones into Pairing Mode.

  Switch on the headphones.

Hold the power switch to the "Bluetooth icon" for 5 seconds; the LED indicator will start flashing RED & BLUE.

Note: For Batch Numbers T22J1 and later (HT5150) and 22L1 and later (AS50), Switch on the headphones.

press and hold the play/pause button until the LED indicator starts flashing RED & BLUE. See pictured below. Where to find the batch number.

3.   Wait for them to Connect. Once connected, you will see the LED indicators on both the transmitter and headphones turn solid BLUE.

4.   Lock them up again - DOUBLE click the MFB button on the transmitter to LOCK the headphones to the transmitter. The transmitter will then automatically reboot and reconnect to the headphones. The LED indicator will go from:
solid BLUE >>> flashing rapidly for a few seconds >>> solid BLUE

Now, the headphones and transmitter are locked together, so that the next time you use them they should automatically connect to each other and show solid BLUE on the headphones. There's NO need to pair them each time.

If you're still having issues, please email support@avantree.com for further assistance.
