How to get aptX-HD Codec (Pre-2020 Batches ONLY)
Please note that this method only applies to DG60 manufactured before 2020. For newer batch, simply slide the top switch to HD Position.
Before doing anything, please note that this can ONLY be done prior to pairing the DG60 with a headphone/speaker. If you've already paired them, please turn your headphone/speaker OFF.
Step 1: Plug in the DG60 to power it ON.
Plug it into an USB port on your computer, and make sure the main switch on DG60 is on the "Bluetooth" side.
Step 2: Make sure that the LED indicator is flashing WHITE.
If it's flashing BLUE, please double-tap the Multi-Function button to switch it. The WHITE LED indicates that the DG60 is now prioritizing aptX-HD codec over the low latency codecs.
Step 3: Pair your aptX-HD Supported device to DG60.
Please note that the aptX-HD codec will only function if BOTH devices support it. So in this case, the headphone/speaker you're using needs to support aptX-HD as well.
Once connected via aptX-HD, the LED indicator on DG60 should TRIPLE-FLASH every 5 seconds.
