Start here

1. Connect your TV

Power → cable → TV sound. Use one audio cable.

Connect to power

  1. Plug the USB-C power cable into Oasis Plus 2.
  2. Plug the other end into either:
    • A powered USB port on your TV, or
    • A 5 V USB wall adapter.

Slide the power switch to ON.

Ready: the display and LEDs turn on.
No lights?

Reseat the power cable and confirm the switch is ON. Try a powered TV USB port or a 5 V USB wall adapter. If there are still no lights, contact support.

Choose a TV output

Find Optical Out or Headphones / Audio Out on the TV.

Use one cable only.

Connect TV to Oasis Plus 2

Connect matching ports: TV OUT → Oasis Plus 2 INPUT FROM TV.

Connect the Optical cable

  1. Remove the clear caps from both square ends.
  2. TV: plug into OPTICAL / DIGITAL AUDIO OUT.
  3. Oasis Plus 2: plug into OPTICAL INPUT FROM TV.

Connect the 3.5 mm AUX cable

  1. TV: plug into HEADPHONES / AUDIO OUT.
  2. Oasis Plus 2: plug into AUX INPUT FROM TV.

2. Pair your headphones

Pair your headphones with Oasis Plus 2—not your TV or phone. Keep them within 3 ft / 1 m while pairing.

Step 1

Put your headphones in pairing mode

Turn off Bluetooth on nearby phones and computers first. Simply turning headphones on is not enough.

3. Play and Listen

  1. Play a TV program.
  2. Put on your headphones and check that you hear the TV.

Choose what you need

Use hearing aids

For compatible Phonak modelsThese steps use charger-based pairing. Oasis Plus 2 does not support Auracast hearing aids.

  1. Prepare the hearing aidsTurn off Bluetooth on previously paired devices. Put both hearing aids in their charger.
  2. Start pairing on Oasis Plus 2Hold Headphone 1 for 2 seconds → green + white flashing.
  3. Take out both hearing aidsKeep them close to Oasis Plus 2 while they pair.

Connected: Headphone 1 LED stays solid white.
Ready: play TV audio and hear it through the hearing aids.

Still not working?

Put both hearing aids back in their charger, then repeat within their pairing window. Other models may use different controls.

Adjust volume

Start low. Raise volume slowly.

Headphones
Use the headphones’ volume controls.
Oasis Plus 2
Press + / − on the transmitter or remote.
TV · AUX only
Adjust the TV headphone-output volume.

Ready: speech is comfortably audible. Too loud? Lower the volume.

Optical still too quiet?

Set the Oasis Plus 2 OPT Volume switch to Boost. Then adjust the volume to a comfortable level.

Optical only: Boost does not apply to AUX.

Still not working?

Check the headphone volume and, for AUX, the TV volume. Contact support with your TV, headphone model and cable type if sound remains too quiet.

Use a soundbar too

Use two cables of the same type.Optical + Optical, or AUX + AUX. Your soundbar needs the matching input.

  1. TV → Oasis Plus 2TV audio OUT → INPUT FROM TV. Keep this cable connected.
  2. Oasis Plus 2 → SoundbarMatching OUTPUT TO SPEAKER → soundbar IN.
  3. Select the soundbar inputChoose the connected Optical or AUX input. Play TV audio.

Ready: both the soundbar and paired headphones play TV audio.

Still not working?
  • Soundbar only silent: match both cable types, reseat OUTPUT TO SPEAKER, check soundbar input and volume.
  • Both silent: check the TV signal →

Fix a problem

Headphones not connected

Firmware update

Update Oasis Plus 2

Keep your firmware up to date for the latest features and best performance.

  1. Download the DFU tool.
  2. Connect Oasis Plus 2 to your computer with a USB data cable.
  3. Run the DFU tool. Follow its instructions and stay connected until complete.
After updating: reset and pair again

This clears the saved Bluetooth pairings on Oasis Plus 2.

  1. Keep Oasis Plus 2 powered on.
  2. Hold + and − together for 7 seconds.
  3. The pairing lights stay green and white for about 5 seconds, then flash green and white. Oasis Plus 2 is ready to pair again.

Quick answers when you need them

Using with a computer

Condition: the computer has a 3.5 mm headphone/audio output.

  1. Connect USB-C power to Oasis Plus 2.
  2. Connect the computer headphone/audio output to AUX INPUT FROM TV.
  3. Select AUX on Oasis Plus 2.
  4. Select the wired audio jack as the computer audio output.

Expected: the AUX signal light is solid and computer audio plays through the paired listener.

No headphone jack? Use a USB-to-3.5 mm audio adapter. Do not pair Oasis Plus 2 from the computer Bluetooth menu.

Buttons and LED meanings
Headphone 1 / Headphone 2 pairing button
Press and hold for 2 seconds. Green + white flashing means pairing. Solid white means connected.
OPT / AUX signal light
Solid means Oasis Plus 2 receives usable audio. Flashing means check the TV output, cable, input selector, playback, and PCM setting.
ON / OFF switch
Slide to ON after USB-C power is connected.
