Connect the TV first.

Power Oasis Plus 2, choose the cable that matches your TV output, then set the TV audio correctly.

1

Power it

Connect the included USB-C cable to a 5 V, 500 mA–2 A power source. Slide the power switch to ON.

Expected: the display and LEDs turn on.
2

Choose one TV audio output

Look at the labels beside your TV ports. Match one output to the corresponding Oasis Plus 2 input.

Use only one audio cable. Optical is recommended when available.
3

Set TV audio

For Optical, select Optical output and set the digital audio format to PCM.

No sound? Dolby, DTS, Bitstream, or Auto can produce silence; use PCM.

Which cable should I use?

Find the matching output label on your TV. Do not connect to an input port.

PAIR YOUR LISTENER

What do you want to hear through?

Oasis Plus 2 can pair with one or two Classic Bluetooth audio devices.

Headphones or earbuds

Turn off Bluetooth on nearby phones/tablets, then put the headphones into true pairing mode—not merely powered on.

AirPods

AirPods work through Classic Bluetooth. The case light must blink white before Oasis Plus 2 can find them.

Bluetooth speaker

The speaker must accept standard Bluetooth audio (A2DP) and be placed in pairing mode.

Pair headphones or earbuds

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices that may reconnect to the headphones.
  2. Put the headphones in pairing mode. Look for the fast-blinking pattern stated by their manufacturer.
  3. Power on Oasis Plus 2. It enters pairing automatically; if needed, hold the pairing button for the A side for 2 seconds until its LED blinks green and white.
  4. Keep both devices within 1 m / 3 ft and wait.
Connected: the A-side LED becomes solid white and TV/computer audio plays.

Pair AirPods

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on the iPhone, iPad, or Mac that normally uses the AirPods.
  2. For AirPods 1/2/3 and Pro 1/2: put both earbuds in the open case and hold the rear setup button about 5 seconds until the case light blinks white.
  3. For AirPods 4 or Pro 3: open the case and double-tap the front until the light changes to blinking white.
  4. Hold the Oasis Plus 2 A-side pairing button for 2 seconds if its LED is not already blinking green and white.
Connected: the A-side LED becomes solid white.
Still flashing? Charge the AirPods/case, clear the previous connection if needed, and repeat with the devices within 1 m.

Pair a Bluetooth speaker

  1. Disconnect the speaker from nearby phones or computers.
  2. Put the speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode; confirm its pairing light or voice prompt.
  3. Hold the Oasis Plus 2 A-side pairing button for 2 seconds if needed.
  4. Keep both devices close and wait for the A-side LED to become solid white.
Important: Wi-Fi-only, AirPlay-only, Sonos network speakers, and passive speakers cannot pair directly.
MORE WAYS TO LISTEN

Second listener, hearing aids, volume, and soundbar.

Connect a second Bluetooth device

  1. Leave the first device connected.
  2. Put the second headphones/speaker into pairing mode.
  3. Hold the B-side pairing button for 2 seconds until B blinks green and white.
  4. Keep it close and wait for B to become solid white.
Success: A and B are solid and both listeners hear the same source.
Second device will not connect? Disconnect it from phones, confirm true pairing mode, then retry. Some device combinations may fall back to a shared codec.

Compatible hearing aids only

Oasis Plus 2 is not an Auracast transmitter. It can connect only to hearing aids that receive Classic Bluetooth audio directly; Avantree currently confirms Phonak in its official guide.

Oticon and other Auracast hearing aids: use an Auracast transmitter such as Oasis Aura instead.

Adjust volume

Use +/− on Oasis Plus 2 or the included remote. With Optical input, the OPT Volume switch can add a fixed boost; use the device controls for everyday adjustment.

AUX: also raise the TV/computer source volume. Optical: TV volume may not control the optical output.

Soundbar + Bluetooth together

For an Optical soundbar, connect TV Optical Out → Oasis Plus 2 Optical In, then Oasis Plus 2 Optical Out → soundbar Optical In.

TV OPT OUT → OASIS PLUS 2 OPT IN → OASIS PLUS 2 OPT OUT → SOUNDBAR OPT IN
HDMI ARC/eARC soundbar? Direct passthrough is not supported. Use a compatible extractor or switch the soundbar to Optical.
Fix a problem

What is happening?

Choose the closest symptom. Each fix includes the expected result and next step.

Restore the audio signal

  1. Play a program on the TV/computer.
  2. Confirm the cable is connected to an output: Optical Out or Headphones/Audio Out.
  3. Set the Oasis Plus 2 input selector to OPT or AUX to match the cable.
  4. For Optical, set TV Digital Audio Format to PCM. For AUX, raise source volume.
  5. Check the OPT/AUX signal light.
Expected: OPT or AUX is solid, A/B is solid, and audio plays.
Signal light still flashing: the transmitter is not receiving usable audio. Try another TV program, reseat the cable, and open the official no-sound guide.

Restart pairing correctly

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on phones, tablets, computers, and TVs that may steal the connection.
  2. Put the listening device into pairing mode; confirm its fast-blinking light or pairing prompt.
  3. Hold the matching Oasis Plus 2 A/B pairing button for 2 seconds until it blinks green and white.
  4. Keep the devices within 1 m and wait up to 30 seconds.
  5. If it still fails, clear Oasis Plus 2 pairing history using the official reset guide, then pair again.
Expected: the matching A/B indicator becomes solid white.

Reduce lip-sync delay

  • For best sync, use headphones that support aptX Adaptive or aptX Low Latency.
  • AirPods use SBC/AAC rather than aptX Adaptive, so some delay may remain.
  • Disable extra TV audio processing when available.
  • Do not use two different wireless paths at once if synchronization is critical.
Expected: speech and picture move closer together.
Still delayed? Open the official audio-lag article for device-specific limits.
