TROUBLESHOOTING

Common issues

Match what you hear, try the action, then check the expected result.

01No sound

Recognize: the broadcast appears selected, but your hearing aids are silent.

  • Confirm the Auracast broadcast source is powered on and broadcasting normally.
  • Move closer, rescan in My Starkey and raise streaming volume.

Expected: broadcast audio plays through both hearing aids. If it does not, restart the broadcast source and repeat the scan.

02Not hearing clearly

Recognize: broadcast audio plays, but room sound makes it difficult to understand.

  • Set streaming volume to a comfortable level.
  • Lower the hearing-aid microphone or surroundings level in My Starkey when that control is available.

Expected: the broadcast becomes clearer without uncomfortable loudness.

03Hearing echo or delay

Recognize: the same broadcast reaches you through your hearing aids and a nearby speaker at slightly different times.

  • Lower the hearing-aid microphone or surroundings level in My Starkey.
  • Mute the nearby speaker, such as a TV speaker.
  • Use one listening path at a time.

Expected: only one synchronized audio path remains.
