Clear TV sound through open-ear Auracast earphones.

Connect the transmitter by Optical or AUX. If your TV only has HDMI ARC/eARC, add a HAX06 HDMI-to-Optical adapter first.

Quick fixes

Each fix states the action, expected result, and next step.

⌁Earphones won't join the transmitter
  1. Confirm the transmitter is on and playing TV audio.
  2. Keep the earphones close to the transmitter and at least 2 m from Wi-Fi routers or microwaves.
  3. Double-press ⏯ if the LED is red + blue, then hold ⏯ for 3 seconds until it flashes orange.
  4. Wait for solid orange.

Expected: solid orange and TV sound. If it still fails, hold + and − together for 5 seconds to reset the earphones, then search again.

🔇Joined, but no TV sound
  1. Check the cable: use TV audio OUT and match the transmitter to OPT or AUX.
  2. HDMI-only TV: connect HDMI ARC/eARC to HAX06, then HAX06 Optical OUT to transmitter OPT IN.
  3. Check the TV: Optical or HAX06 requires PCM/Stereo. AUX requires Headphones output and normal TV volume.
  4. Restart: turn the transmitter OFF, then ON.

Expected: the Audio Signal light is solid and dialogue plays. If it still blinks, recheck the selected TV output.

ARCTV only has HDMI ARC / eARC
  1. Medley Pebble 2 does not accept HDMI directly.
  2. Connect TV HDMI ARC/eARC to the HAX06 adapter.
  3. Connect HAX06 Optical OUT to transmitter OPT IN and select OPT.
  4. On the TV choose HDMI ARC/Receiver, turn eARC off if required, and select PCM/Stereo.

Expected: the Audio Signal light becomes solid. A standard HDMI cable connected directly to Medley Pebble 2 cannot work.

⚡No light on transmitter
  1. Reconnect USB-C at both ends.
  2. Try a known-working 5 V USB adapter.
  3. Slide the transmitter switch to OFF, then ON.

If there is still no light, submit a support ticket with a photo of the power connection.

🔋Earphones will not charge
  1. Confirm the dock has power.
  2. Align the charging contacts and look for solid red.
  3. Try USB-C charging directly.
  4. Allow about 2 hours.

Make dialogue louder

Adjust volume in this order.

Start with the source, then fine-tune the earphones.

1. TV and transmitter

  • TV/source volume: raise it first when using AUX.
  • Volume Boost: switch it ON at the transmitter for +6 dB. It supports AUX and Optical input.

2. Earphones

  • Volume: raise it slowly to a comfortable level.
  • Volume Boost: turn it on at the transmitter when you need more TV volume.

Daily use

Charge the earphones.

Use the powered dock or a USB-C cable.

Power & charging

About 2 hours for a full charge.

  1. Use the powered dock or USB-C with a 5 V, 1–2.4 A source.
  2. On the dock, align the charging contacts.
  3. Solid red means charging; the LED turns off when full.

Not charging? Reseat the earphones or USB-C cable and verify the power source.

Battery reference

Up to 18 hours of playtime. Actual time varies with volume, connection, and use.

Daily use

Use a soundbar and earphones together.

Match the input and output cable.

TV Optical audio enters the Medley Pebble 2 transmitter, passes from OPT OUT to a soundbar, and broadcasts wirelessly to the earphones
OPT IN → OPT OUT, or AUX IN → AUX OUT.

More listeners

Add Pebble Aura earphones.

The current manual verifies this process for Pebble Aura earphones with the Medley Pebble 2 transmitter.

1. Start transmitter pairing

Hold the transmitter MODE button for 2 seconds. The MODE LED flashes orange rapidly.

2. Start earphone pairing

On the Pebble Aura earphones, hold Volume − for 5 seconds. Keep them close to the transmitter.

3. Confirm connection

Transmitter: solid orange. Earphone: solid orange for 3 seconds, then off.

Private listening

Private Mode is coming soon.

Private Mode uses an encrypted, password-protected Auracast broadcast.

Until then

Use the open Medley Pebble 2 broadcast for normal TV listening. The headphone app is only needed for password-protected broadcasts.

Not part of normal setup. Update only when an Medley Pebble 2 release addresses your issue or adds a feature you need.
