Clear TV sound through open-ear Auracast earphones.
Connect the transmitter by Optical or AUX. If your TV only has HDMI ARC/eARC, add a HAX06 HDMI-to-Optical adapter first.
For normal TV listening, remove the earphones from the powered base—no Bluetooth pairing is needed.

How the recommended setup works

For normal TV use, do not pair by Bluetooth. A solid orange headphone LED means it has joined the transmitter.

Four steps. One clear result.
Follow each step in order. We show what to do, what to look for, and how to fix it.
Step 1
Power the transmitter.
Place it near the TV. Keep the audio cable loose, not stretched.
Connect power
- Connect USB-C to the transmitter.
- Connect USB-A to a 5 V, 500 mA–2 A power source.
- Slide Volume Boost / OFF / ON to ON.

Expected: the transmitter turns on. The audio-signal light may blink until the TV sends sound.
No light? Reconnect both cable ends. Then try another USB power source.
Step 2
Choose one TV audio output.
Look at the labels on the back or side of the TV, then choose the matching path.
Using a soundbar? Complete headphone setup first. Optical and AUX pass-through are covered later; HDMI ARC soundbars cannot share the ARC port directly.
Which TV output do you have?
Tap the socket label you see. Only HDMI ARC? Choose HAX06.
Connect with Optical
- Remove the protective caps from both cable ends.
- Connect TV OPTICAL / DIGITAL AUDIO OUT to transmitter OPT IN.
- Set the transmitter Input Selector to OPT.
Next: set the TV sound output to Optical/External Speaker and Digital Audio Format to PCM.
Connect an HDMI-only TV with HAX06
- Connect the TV port labeled HDMI ARC or eARC to the HAX06 adapter.
- Connect HAX06 OPTICAL OUT to Medley Pebble 2 OPT IN.
- Set the transmitter input to OPT.
Important: Medley Pebble 2 does not support HDMI ARC directly. On the TV select HDMI ARC/Receiver, turn eARC off if required, and choose PCM/Stereo.
Connect with AUX / 3.5 mm
- Connect TV HEADPHONES / AUDIO OUT to transmitter AUX IN.
- Set the transmitter Input Selector to AUX.
- Set TV sound output to Earphones and raise TV volume to a normal level.
Next: play a program with speech; PCM is normally not required for analog AUX.
Step 3
Set the TV audio output.
Use your TV remote. Then match the settings to your cable.

Step 4
Listen with the earphones.
Remove both earphones from the base. They automatically join the transmitter's Auracast broadcast.

Success: each earphone LED is solid orange for 3 seconds, then turns off. TV sound plays.
Join the TV broadcast
- Keep the powered transmitter close while first connecting.
- Remove both earphones from the charging base.
- Wait for solid orange for 3 seconds, then wear them.
- Raise the earphone volume slowly.
Red + blue flashing? The earphones are in Bluetooth mode. Turn the transmitter on, then place the earphones back in the base and remove them again.
Only one side has sound? Reseat both earphones in the base, then remove both again.
Need another listener? Go to Add More Earphones. If an extra earphone will not join, check the FAQ link.
TV Bluetooth setup
Connect the earphones directly to a Bluetooth TV.
This bypasses the Medley Pebble 2 transmitter. Bluetooth TV audio may have more lip-sync delay and does not use Volume Boost.
Turn off the transmitter
Start Bluetooth pairing
Hold Volume + on either earphone for 5 seconds until red and blue flash.
Select Medley Pebble 2
On the TV, open Settings → Sound → Bluetooth speaker list and select Medley Pebble 2.
Confirm solid blue
Solid blue means the Bluetooth connection is ready.
Want lower-delay TV sound?
Setup complete → Adjust volumeVolume

Use either earphone. The change applies to both.
Adjust TV volume
Optical: may be fixed.
AUX: usually adjustable.
Still too low?
Turn on Volume Boost on the transmitter.
Phone + TV
Dual Mode: never miss a call.
Stay connected to your phone while listening to TV audio.
Incoming call?
TV audio pauses automatically.
It resumes when the call ends.
Set up Dual Mode
- Pair the earphones with your phone.Turn the transmitter OFF, then follow Use with a PC / Phone.
- Turn the transmitter back ON.The earphones reconnect to TV audio and stay linked to your phone.
Expected: TV audio plays normally. Calls take priority automatically.
PC / Phone Bluetooth
Use as Bluetooth earphones.
Connect to a phone or PC via Bluetooth.
Turn transmitter OFF
Remove the earphones
Red and blue flashing? Go to step 3.
If not, hold Volume + for 5 seconds.
Turn on Bluetooth
Open Bluetooth on your phone or PC.
Select Medley Pebble 2
Connected: the earphone LEDs turn solid blue, then turn off.
Auracast hearing aids
Use with hearing aids.
Medley Pebble 2 works with Auracast-enabled hearing aids.
Check compatibility first. Confirm that your hearing aids support Auracast before setup. Check device compatibility →
Check the Mode light
White is the default mode for hearing-aid support.
Not white?
Double-press the transmitter MODE button.
Join on your hearing aids
Use your hearing aids or their companion app to join the Medley Pebble 2 Auracast broadcast.
Expected: the Mode light is white and TV audio plays through your hearing aids.
Quick fixes
Common issues.
Choose the problem you see.
One side sound?
Put both earphones back in the base.
Remove them together and wait for both sides to reconnect.
Factory Reset?
Important: This erases all saved connections.
Reset the earphones
- Take the left earphone out of the base.Press and hold Volume + and Volume − for 5 seconds. The LED stays red and blue for 3 seconds, then flashes red and blue.
- Repeat with the right earphone.
Expected: Both earphones enter pairing mode, ready for a new connection.
No Sound

Use the powered dock or a USB-C cable.

About 2 hours for a full charge.
- Use the powered dock or USB-C with a 5 V, 1–2.4 A source.
- On the dock, align the charging contacts.
- Solid red means charging; the LED turns off when full.
Not charging? Reseat the earphones or USB-C cable and verify the power source.

The current manual verifies this process for Pebble Aura earphones with the Medley Pebble 2 transmitter.
1. Start transmitter pairing
Hold the transmitter MODE button for 2 seconds. The MODE LED flashes orange rapidly.
2. Start earphone pairing
On the Pebble Aura earphones, hold Volume − for 5 seconds. Keep them close to the transmitter.
3. Confirm connection
Transmitter: solid orange. Earphone: solid orange for 3 seconds, then off.

Private listening
Private Mode is coming soon.
Private Mode uses an encrypted, password-protected Auracast broadcast.
What to expect
The feature is not available yet. Once released, it will be added to the earphones through a DFU firmware update.
Until then
Use the open Medley Pebble 2 broadcast for normal TV listening. The headphone app is only needed for password-protected broadcasts.
