TROUBLESHOOTING

Common issues

Match what you hear, try the action, then check the expected result.

01No sound

Problem: the broadcast appears selected, but the Baha 7 Sound Processor is silent. Possible cause: the broadcast source is off, the processor has disconnected from Android, or the stream is too quiet.

  • Confirm the Auracast source is powered on and broadcasting normally.
  • Confirm the sound processor remains connected to Android, move closer, rescan in Auracast Assistant and raise streaming volume.

Expected: broadcast audio plays through the sound processor. If it does not, restart the broadcast source and repeat the scan, then contact support.

02Not hearing clearly

Problem: broadcast audio plays through the Baha 7 Sound Processor, but it is difficult to understand. Possible cause: the stream is too quiet compared with nearby sound.

  • Raise the streaming volume to a comfortable level.
  • Move closer to the Auracast broadcast source.

Expected: the broadcast becomes clearer without uncomfortable loudness. If it does not, contact support.

03Hearing echo or delay

Problem: the same broadcast reaches you through the Baha 7 Sound Processor and a nearby speaker at slightly different times. Possible cause: two audio paths are playing together.

  • Mute the nearby speaker, such as a TV speaker.
  • Use one listening path at a time.

Expected: only one synchronized audio path remains. If the echo continues, contact support.
